Notes on using GraphTable.xls

This worksheet is designed to help teach the method of plotting a linear or quadratic graph from a table of values.

It enables examples to be quickly generated for explanation or practice, by editing the values of a, b and c.

The range for which the graph is drawn can be varied using the sliders or by directly entering values.

The graph and/or table can be hidden while the students work on a problem and then shown to check their answers.

There is an option to zoom in on the table for greater visibility on a whiteboard.
