Notes on using RandomSample.xls

This workbook was produced in response to a question from a delegate at the 2006 Oundle TSM conference about using Excel to do sampling from a dataset such as that used for GCSE coursework.

The first worksheet explains how things are set up. Once you have pasted in your own data in the required format random samples can be produced by a macro at the click of a button.
