Notes on using VectorLine.xls

This is a visual demonstration of the vector equation of a line in two dimensions.

The initial and direction vectors can be edited with values between -5 and 5.

The slider can be used to vary λ and observe the effect on the construction of the green point which represents (x,y).

Clicking on the "Animate" button gives an automatic demonstration of the effect of varying λ.
