Notes on using Averages.xls

This worksheet helps to practise the methods for finding the mean median and mode of a frequency distribution.

Problems are generated randomly when you click on the 'New' button.

The working and answers can be hidden and shown again.

I use this projected onto a whiteboard to help me explain and practice/revise the methods.

It means I can quickly generate new examples and concentrate on getting points across or questioning.
