Notes on using BasicTrigEqnSolv.xls

This spreadsheet allows students to familiarise themselves with a graphical method of solving basic trig equations.

It provides practice in solving equations and attempts to build up a mental association between the equations and the graphs.

There is also a sheet summarising  methods of  solving the 3 types of equation.
