Notes on using DecPlaces&SigFigs.xls

This simply generates random problems on rounding to so many decimal places or significant figures.

There is a scoring mechanism so you could aim to get 10 right in a row or whatever seems an appropriate target.

I use it projected on a whiteboard for whole class questioning but it could also be used by individual students for revision or practice.
