Notes on using TrapRule.xls

This is a demonstration of the trapezium rule formula colour coded to emphasize the key aspects of the formula and how they relate to the table of values.

I produced this to try and help students remember the method in a more visual way.

The equation of the curve and the cells for a, b and n can be edited but the other cells are locked and protected.
