My name is\"Mike\"<\/a> Mike Hadden. In 2001 when I was teaching at Hills Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge I got interested in using Excel to create interactive resources for Maths teachers and students. I got funding from the\u00a0 Gatsby foundation to spend one day a week for a year on the project and at the end of that time started a website www.mathsfiles.com <\/a>to show the results.
\nSince that time I have continued to develop my skills and the website. I have run workshops in Excel for teachers as well as undertaking commercial projects and training for companies.<\/p>\n

This blog will probably evolve as I go along but for now I plan to share some of what I have learned about using Excel with Macros, information and updates about what is on the MathsFiles website\u00a0 as well as some thoughts and resources about Maths teaching.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
